Visiting Gaylord Opryland in the heart of Nashville, Tennessee has been a family tradition since I was a child! Every year our family looks forward to seeing over 5 million Christimas lights around the resort, and every year it gets better! Along with the lights seeing 2 million pounds of ice carved out with scenes from the Polar Express is something to leave all ages in awe! This year did not disappoint. The kids always love the ice slides and the amazing sculptures.

We were recently hosted by Gaylord Opryland to get an inside look of the new Christmas attractions and it was the best two days for our family! Along with Ice! The kids loved the bumper ice cars, ice skating, ice tubing, throwing snow balls, and so much more! The best part was we were able to share the fun with our 2 year old little buddy, who we had fostered for almost a year. So everyone from age 2 to 14 had so much fun!

If it’s too cold outside you can always head inside for pictures with Santa, decorating Christmas cookies or gingerbread houses, Snoopy’s Christmas scavenger hunt, and so much more! You can even have fun just walking around the resort and seeing all the decorated trees!

To wind down at night be sure to book Mrs. Claus’ Christmas tradition for a Christmas classic, fun songs, and cookies. This is a great way to end the day!

You can save with thier great Cyber Deal here with Cyber30 while available. If you are not staying on property be sure to check the website for times to visit if you do not have tickets. I do know they limit the number of non staying guests from walking around the hotel due to the fire codes.

I recommend just booking a room, even if you are local and enjoying all the lights and even a day at soundwaves for some winter water fun!

This is always one of our kids favorite places to stay!
