I have lived in Nashville most of my life and I have to say the only time I have spent much time in Columbia was years ago when I came to Mule Day! Columbia is a small town just south of Nashville with a cute Main Street that feels like you are stepping back in time but with cute modern shops and restaurants.

Last week I spent the day with a good friend of mine who lives in Columbia and was able to show me all around town. I was honestly surprised at the number of boutiques. Everything from trendy shops to antique stores, even hunting and outdoor shops. You have to start your day at Muletown Coffee on the square before strolling around town.

After a full day of shopping, you will be glad to know you have so many great options for lunch. We walked down to Buck & Board which was the cutest little spot! They offer everything from drinks to dessert! The charcuterie and cheese board was amazing!

There are also many other great restaurants to try around Columbia like:

Macy Jo’s

Pucketts

Square Market and Cafe

Southern Tre Steakhouse https://www.southerntresteakhouse.com/

The Dotted Lime– Everything is Gluten Free

You also have to stop by Hattie Jane’s for Ice Cream!

So if you are visiting Nashville and looking for something else to do away from the traffic, head South to Columbia and enjoy a day around the square!
