This chocolate cake is so easy to make and great to make ahead of time. If you’re having guest over, it’s great to make ahead and then you have a warm dessert for everyone to enjoy after dinner. Everyone loves a good chocolate molten cake!

Slow Cooker Chocolate Molten Cake

This chocolate cake is warm and gooey and easy to make ahead of time!

  • 1 Slow Cooker


  • 1 Box Chocolate Fudge Cake Mix
  • 1 3.9 oz Instant Chocolate Pudding Mix
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1/2 Cup Oil
  • 1 1/4 Cup Water
  • 2 Cups Milk
  • 1 12 oz Semi-sweet chocolate chips


  • In a large bowl mix together cake mix, eggs, and oil. Add water.
  • In a smaller bowl mix the pudding mix and milk, allow to sit for a minute.
  • Spray your slow cooker with a non-stick spray. Pour in your cake mix, then spoon in the pudding over the cake the cake mix. It will not be evenly spread across. Top with chocolate chips.
  • Cook on high for 3 hours.
  • Top with ice cream and enjoy!
