Anakeesta is a fairly new outdoor park located in the heart of Gatlinburg. Your adventure begins with taking a chondola or the rambler to the top of the mountain.
Once you arrive to Firefly Village you will see cute shops and restaurants with a mountain view!
We enjoyed lunch at Cliff Top with gorgeous views. The charcuterie board is a must as well as the Pork Oso Bucco. If you are looking for something lighter the seasonal salad is a great option as well.

There is so much to do at Anakeesta you could spend an entire day! If you are wanting to relax you can walk around the gardens, sit by a fire and listen to music, or enjoy a glass of wine with a view.
If you are more adventurous then be sure to head out across the treetop skywalk, a hanging bridge over 50 ft. in the air. You can also check out the dueling zip-line or the rail runner coaster. And if your legs are not too tired, you can climb 78 steps to the top of the observation tower.

There is also plenty to do to keep kids entertained. My kids loved climbing in the treehouse village. Kids can climb and test their balance as they venture through obstacles.

Be sure to get your tickets online before and arrive early or later in the afternoon to avoid the lines. As you can see we had a fun day even in the rain, so worth checking out rain or shine!
